Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities <ul><li>Deliver face-to-face consultations and urgent care for patients presenting with acute or minor illness and injury. </li><li>Undertake clinical assessments, investigations, and management plans in line with UTC clinical pathways. </li><li>Provide advice to patients and referrers on appropriate care, treatment, and safety-netting.</li><li>Liaise with A&amp;E teams, community services, and primary care partners to ensure seamless care. </li><li> Support effective triage, prioritisation, and redirection of patients where clinically appropriate. </li><li>Maintain accurate clinical records on CLEO and EMIS systems and complete statutory documentation promptly. </li><li>Work within IC24's prescribing formulary and clinical governance framework. </li><li>Participate in audit, learning events and educational sessions. </li><li>Promote team working and positive engagement with colleagues across Alliance sites. </li><li>Contribute to continuous service improvement and patient experience initiatives.</li></ul>Flexibility and Technical Requirements UTC GPs must be flexible to work rotational sessions including evenings, overnights and weekends on a 24/7 basis. Urgent Care GP - East Kent (Bank)

The Role Job Purpose To provide high-quality, safe, and effective face-to-face clinical care to patients accessing the North &amp; West Kent Out of Hours (OOH) bases. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients referred via NHS 111, community services, or self-referral, working collaboratively with CAS clinicians, reception and dispatch teams, and local system partners to deliver excellent urgent care and reduce unnecessary hospital attendances. Hours: Weekdays: Tunbridge Wells / Maidstone 19:00-08:00; Dartford 18:30-08:00 Weekends: Tunbridge Wells &amp; Maidstone Friday 19:00-Monday 08:00 Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide face-to-face consultations for patients attending OOH bases at Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Dartford, and Gravesend</li><li>Undertake home visits for patients allocated through IC24 dispatch systems using CLEO on Toughbook device</li><li>Undertake comprehensive assessments, diagnostics, treatment, and prescribing in accordance with IC24 clinical guidelines. </li><li>Liaise with CAS clinicians and navigators to support effective triage and patient flow. </li><li>Prioritise cases based on clinical urgency and ensure safe redirection to alternative services where appropriate. </li><li>Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, providing clear safety-netting and follow-up advice. </li><li>Maintain high standards of documentation on CLEO, EMIS, or SystmOne systems.</li><li>Uphold the principles of patient confidentiality and data protection at all times. </li><li>Support audit, clinical governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Contribute to peer learning and IC24's weekly educational programme.</li></ul>Who are we?
