Department: Allied Health Professionals and Psychology
Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time
Location: Priory Hospital North London
Compensation: £41,200 / year
Description
Priory Hospital North London has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Therapy Lead to join our team on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Located in London, in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands.
It's one of the UK's leading centres for the treatment of a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and professionally accredited therapist (e.g. HCPC, BABCP, BACP or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in a mental health setting. You will have proven experience of providing clinical and line management supervision, leading teams, and managing complex clinical risk. A strong understanding of clinical governance, service development, and multidisciplinary working is essential, alongside excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
This position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours.
