Detailed job description and main responsibilities Develop a knowledge and understanding of the patient pathway. Ensure that appointments are made within the correct timescales and any follow-up actions from clinical appointments are carried out, i.e. tests or appointments ordered and bookings made within the correct timescale. Input 'add to waiting list forms' within 24 hours of decision to admit . Ensuring accuracy and efficient updating of waiting list records. To ensure patient cancellations are allocated new TCI dates within the specified time limits. To manage pre-assessment clinics, working in close conjunction with pre-assessment staff to ensure the smooth running of clinics Monitor elective waiting times, proactively identifying risks, and taking corrective actions to ensure relevant targets are not breached, in conjunction with the Service Team.
