Duties and responsibilities <ul> <li> The successful Practitioner or Nurse will prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum. You will run a theatre list without supervision and supervise / mentor junior staff (subject to experience) and perform anaesthetic duties. Overall Responsibilities <ul> <li> Request, raise and reconcile all engineering purchase orders on SAP. </li> <li> Facilitate all administration processes supporting engineering services. </li> <li> Manage all non-bio-medical hospital assets from CMMS (Pirana) ensure they are kept up to date with regular servicing &amp; compliance documentation. </li> <li> Ensure effective planning of all weekly, quarterly and annual PPM's and disseminate to hospital engineers and contractors. </li> <li> Manage and plan reactive work and maintain departmental electronic and manual filing systems accurately. </li> <li> Manage all contractors in line with HS21/HS16 Control of Contractors Policy. </li> <li> Manage internal and external communications such as e-mails and telephone calls as required. </li> <li> Daily check of presence, investigate all invoice queries and resolve in a timely manner with AP. </li> <li> Assist CSSD with yearly SGS audit. </li> <li> Prepare reports and documentation and assist with internal and external audits. </li> <li> Ensure cost effective management of all local service agreements with external contractors, obtain all relevant documents and complete new vendor requests via Spire links. </li> <li> Feedback contractor performance reviews for centrally negotiated contracts with Spire Senior FM Buyer. </li> <li> Ensure all hospital staff utilise Pirana system to report breakdowns and engineer requests, then prioritise request/jobs amongst engineers. </li> <li> Management of access door system, Issue door swipe cards to new starters, consultants and issue replacement cards. </li> <li> Practice and maintain a high standard of confidentiality at all times and exercise absolute discretion in the use of all patient/consultant/staff information in line with Information Governance requirements.
