The salary for this permanent Staying Close Project Manager job is up to £57,102 per annum. Main duties:<ul>
<li>Foster a positive and supportive working environment for the direct reports, including key workers/floating support workers and the part-time transitions nurse.</li><li>Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to the assigned staff, ensuring their professional development and well-being.</li><li>Effectively manage any staff members assigned to support project delivery, providing clear expectations, performance feedback, and opportunities for growth.</li><li>Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project team and across partner agencies.</li><li>Effectively manage any conflicts or disputes within the team or with external stakeholders, seeking resolutions through open communication and meditation.</li><li>Create and secure stakeholder engagement and sign-off for all project documentation necessary for governance and benefits realisation.</li><li>Work closely with the Head of Corporate Parenting to assess the feasibility of business cases for delivery.</li><li>Carry out a risk assessment of the project plan, identify potential non-compliance risks, and develop preventative and corrective measures.</li><li>Ensure appropriate resources, including budget and supportive functions, are allocated for successful project delivery.Supervise and manage staff assigned to support project delivery.</li><li>Facilitate accurate reporting of project status, risks, and suggested corrective actions to the appropriate board.</li><li>Provide effective, constrictive challenge as required a solution design and development stage.</li><li>Ensure change management strategies are designed, documented, and implemented as part of the project.</li><li>Continuously assess and improve service delivery in line with corporate objectives.</li></ul>
Requirements of this role:<ul>
<li>A social Work Qualification or equivalent.</li><li>Understanding of relevant legislation.</li><li>Registered or eligible for registration.</li><li>Team level / first line management experience.</li><li>Prince 2 or other project management qualification.</li><li>Working effectively under pressure, to prioritise and manage deadlines and demonstrate sound judgement and political awareness.</li><li>This post requires registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).</li></ul>
