Duties &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Ensure that the sonography examination results meet the clinic standard for quality assurance before findings are released for interpretation.</li><li>Function as a technical or clinical leader/expert in sonography.</li><li>Accountable for the creation, oversight, and implementation of scanning</li><li>g protocols and quality control activities</li><li>Provide technical, image quality, and accuracy oversight for the assessment of sonography examinations.</li><li>Ensure that appropriate accreditation is secured and maintained.</li><li>Carry out quality assurance protocols and quality improvement measures.</li><li>Pursue and maintain cutting-edge technical and clinical updates.</li><li>Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and other members of the external health care providers.</li><li>Serve as the representative and advocate with other internal or external health care providers</li><li>Referral - Support the need to provide a professional service to our customers.</li><li>Responsible for day-to-day operation of sonography services within the clinic.</li></ul> At HCA UK we care about what you care about. Roles: Speech &amp; Language Therapist - Bank Location : The Harborne Hospital (Birmingham), part of HCA Healthcare UK Contract type: Bank Pay: Bank hourly rate between £26.51ph - £35.35 ph dependent upon shift &amp; role type At The Harborne Hospital we have a very diverse patient caseload supporting people with craniotomy's, prolonged intubation, tracheostomy, Cervical spine surgeries. The Therapies department is an ever growing team currently consisting of 1 full time physio and 1 part time dietitian and soon to be recruiting another part time physio. We are supported by bank Physio's and Dietitians as well as OT's and SLT's. It is likely that opportunities for permanent positions will become available as volumes of patients increase.
