Full-time role of 37.5 hours a week
Salary £27,277- £32,750 dependent on experience
BPS accredited undergraduate psychology programme and attained a degree of no less than an upper second classification.You will be working on the Forensics' wardThe hospital also provides acute and psychiatric intensive care, medium and low secure services, and bespoke therapeutic placements. Priory's acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.
Priory Hospital, Kneesworth House, SG8 5JP. The location is not easily accessible via public transport. The closest train station is Royston, about 2.5 miles away from Priory Hospital Kneesworth House.
What you'll be doing
The role involves organising, monitoring, and prioritising an individual caseload under the guidance of a supervisor, balancing both training requirements and organisational needs. The post holder will support psychological assessments, formulations, and intervention plans for service users, using a range of assessment methods including interviews, psychometric testing, behavioural observation, and consultation with staff and families. Responsibilities also include contributing to the development and delivery of group work programmes, monitoring clinical outcomes, supporting service evaluations and research projects, and assisting with the ongoing development of Psychology department systems and processes. You will join the team on the Forensics' ward Ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.You can find additional information in the attached job description.
