What you will do

  • Deliver exceptional perioperative care within the operating theatre environment.
  • Function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.
  • Prepare and manage the operating theatres for each procedure.
  • Undertake scrub, circulate, and/or anaesthetic duties as per your experience and competency.
  • Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and in top condition.
  • Uphold the highest standards in infection prevention and control.
  • Prioritise patient safety and provide care aligned with relevant guidelines and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Professional Qualification: Qualified and experienced Theatre Practitioner.
  • Theatre Experience: Recent experience working within an operating theatre environment.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of theatre procedures, infection control, and patient safety standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent organisational and communication abilities within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Right to Work: Valid right to work in the UK/States of Guernsey as applicable.
  • Commitment: Ability to commit to the full 10-week block booking.
