Your World is currently looking to place a Band 6 OT with UK experience into a locum role in Telford.
Based in a fantastic Teaching Hospital in Telford, this position is ideal for an OT who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the nex step. This position comes with the added bonus of working alongside an experienced team of healthcare professionals.
Are you the right OT?
A registered Occupational therapist is required to assess and treat patients requiring ward-based rehabilitation and assessment for discharge planning. Experience of working independently and at pace is required to ensure proactive discharge planning and robust and effective treatment plans are in place. The person will be part of a therapy team including a rehab technician and a physiotherapist. Experience of community-based pathways would also be desirable to ensure length of stay is optimal.

Requirements
- Full OT qualifications
- HCPC registration
- UK Occupational Therapy experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
