What you will do

  • Clinical Practice: Deliver specialist assessment and intervention for children with complex communication needs.
  • SEMH Support: Apply knowledge of neurodiversity and SEMH to create tailored treatment plans.
  • Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate across teams to provide holistic and coordinated care.
  • Family Engagement: Communicate effectively with families and carers, offering guidance and support.
  • Clinical Development: Expand and maintain your clinical knowledge across a range of therapy approaches and assessment tools.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to HCPC and RCSLT standards, maintaining high-quality documentation and practice.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training and development to improve clinical outcomes and service quality.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist.
  • Experience working with children, particularly within SEMH or neurodivergent populations.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across service locations.
