This ongoing locum position offers up to £35 per hour, depending on your experience, for part-time work at 22.5 hours per week. What you will do:

  • Provide direct assessment and therapy services, employing a variety of techniques tailored to each child's unique communication needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Work with families, relatives, and carers to ensure holistic support for each child.
  • Apply your knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practices in your daily work.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant legislation impacting clinical practice and professional management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and pursue further qualifications to enhance your skills within this specialist area.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • RCSLT Registration: Fully registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • HCPC Registration: Valid HCPC registration is essential.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar paediatric SEMH setting.
  • Professional Knowledge: Competent in core Speech and Language Therapy practices and familiar with RCSLT Communicat
