What you will do:

• Identify and assess pupils with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN), providing tailored advice and strategies for teachers and support staff.
• Plan and deliver individual or group therapy sessions, focusing on developing communication skills, supporting access to the curriculum, and promoting social interaction.
• Work alongside teachers, teaching assistants, and SENCO to embed communication-friendly practices in the classroom, while offering guidance and training to staff and families where appropriate.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:

• Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Recent UK/NHS experience working post-qualification as a Speech and Language Therapist.
