What you will do:

• Assessments & Planning: Undertake occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and reviews to promote independence

• Support & Guidance: Advise, teach, and support individuals and carers to overcome disability and maximise independence

• Equipment & Adaptations: Recommend and provide equipment and advise on home adaptations

• Collaboration: Liaise with health, social care, and partner agencies for coordinated multidisciplinary support

• Supervision: Support and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students

• Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to statutory and professional standards

• Safeguarding: Commit to safeguarding adults and upholding equality policies

To excel in this role, you should have experience in a health or social care community setting, be able to manage a demanding and unpredictable caseload, and possess strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills. Being registered with the Health and Care Professions Council is essential. A valid driver's licence is also required to enable you to travel across the region easily.
