Locum Social Services Occupational Therapist - Community in Greenwich (UK) - Earn up to £36 Hourly - 6 Month Project-Based Assignment

What you will do:
- Complete Occupational Therapy assessments to promote independence, safety, and wellbeing
- Develop rehabilitation plans, care plans, and support strategies
- Coordinate assessments, reports, and presentations to multi-agency panels
- Assess functional abilities and identify appropriate interventions
- Manage a complex caseload and assess risks effectively
- Assess for and prescribe equipment and adaptations
- Undertake carers assessments where required
- Work in partnership with health, social care, and community agencies
- Participate in duty, intake, and enquiry systems

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in the NHS and Adult Social Care
- HCPC registered
- Experience managing complex caseloads and completing functional assessments
- Skills in equipment and adaptations, risk assessment, and case management
- Excellent report writing and communication abilities
- Strong team player in multidisciplinary settings

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with local authority
- Familiarity with Care Act assessments
- Experience in supporting transition services
- Experience presenting cases at multidisciplinary panels

Salary range
