Description
We are looking to employ a sessional Therapist in an exciting role. hours for this sessional role are flexible and will be scheduled according to the centre's requirements. While specific hours may vary depending on demand, we aim to provide clarity as service needs become clearer. This approach ensures the centre can respond effectively to changing demands.
This role is Hybrid - applicants must live locally to the hospital address, as this role is face to face & virtual sessions across two of our outpatient service sites at Bristol Hospital and Park Clinic.
Bristol Park Clinic, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway, is easily accessible by car, bus, and train via the M4, M5, and Almondsbury Interchange. Just off the M32, Bristol Hospital is a Grade II listed building with free parking, offering 77 beds across seven wards. Services include Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders treatment, acute care, rehabilitation, and recovery.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be accredited with BABCP, BACP, or UKCP. Ideally, you will have at least three years of experience in an outpatient setting, with a proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and referrers. We're seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality therapy and has training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, or REBT. This position offers flexibility, with the option to work weekdays, evenings, or weekends to suit your availability.
