What you will do:

  • Hold and manage a small caseload of complex and challenging cases.
  • Provide support and mentoring to team members in managing such cases.
  • Support your team's development by maintaining high professional standards.
  • Supervise and guide students on placement as well as newly qualified Occupational Therapists.
  • Perform probationary assessments and engage in practice development programmes.
  • Utilise specialist knowledge of major adaptations and equipment to promote independence within the service.
  • Represent the service in local strategic initiatives to enhance service provision.
  • Improve the quality of work carried out by occupational therapists, ensuring effective case management and evidence-based interventions.

This position requires HCPC registration, and you must have a valid driving licence.
