We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist within the Reablement Team in the vibrant city of Brighton. What you will do:

  • Lead a dynamic Reablement programme, focused on delivering first-rate Adult Social Care services.
  • Oversee the Reablement Front Door pilot within Access to Adult Social Care, providing expert leadership and operational oversight.
  • Line manage a multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely, strengths-based interventions are delivered from the first point of contact.
  • Work towards maximising independence and efficiency within the service, reducing reliance on long-term care.
  • Embed robust performance management, improve data quality, and adhere to governance arrangements.
  • Drive continuous service improvements and foster partnerships to help shape the future of reablement.
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives by designing and implementing new models of care.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registration: You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Driving Licence: Access to a car is desirable, as the role may require travel.
  • Experience: A strong background in reablement service delivery is essential to support transformational service initiatives.
