Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across varied community settings.
  • Manage a complex caseload, providing specialist assessment and intervention.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, promoting professional development and high practice standards.
  • Develop specialist knowledge in areas such as Moving & Handling, Adaptations, and Technology Enabled Living.
  • Act as Clinical Lead for the Community Equipment Store, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Respond to referral enquiries, conduct audits, and represent Occupational Therapy in stakeholder meetings.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the service.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential).
  • Experience managing complex cases within community or multidisciplinary settings.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience desirable.
