Senior Healthcare Assistant - Nights (Wellingborough)42 hours per week | Night shifts£13.73 per hourNursing Care | Dementia Care | Mental Health ConditionsWe are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a well-respected nursing home in Wellingborough, supporting residents with nursing needs, dementia, and mental health conditions.As a Senior HCA, you will play a key role in ensuring high standards of person-centred care are delivered during the night shift.
You will support the nursing team, lead care staff, and ensure residents are cared for with dignity, respect, and compassion.What We Offer:£13.73 per hour (paid weekly or monthly)42-hour contract (3-4 night shifts per week)Opportunities for ongoing training and career developmentSupportive management and team environmentKey
the night care team in delivering person-centred careAdminister and monitor medication (if trained and competent)Support residents with personal care, mobility, and nighttime routinesComplete accurate care documentation and handoversMonitor residents' wellbeing and report concerns to nursing staffEnsure a calm, safe, and supportive environment
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Previous experience as a Senior Carer or HCA in a care/nursing home settingConfident working with residents with dementia and mental health conditionsStrong leadership and communication skillsMedication administration experience (desirable)Location: WellingboroughShift Pattern: 12-hour night shifts (e.g., 8pm-8am) including alternate weekendsReady to join a caring team and make a difference?
