Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Kent Clinical Neuropsychology Service working with stroke survivors and adults with acquired brain injury. The post would suit someone with relevant past experience (e.g. neuropsychology/health psychology), but we would also consider someone who is newly qualified or moving across from another specialty.
The post is based in West Kent, primarily Maidstone and Sevenoaks, however there is some opportunity for discussion about flexibility in location. Travel to patients at home and care home settings is sometimes needed. There will be supervision by another experienced Clinical Psychologist and close working with other psychologists including lots of opportunity for informal support.
This is a community role and involves a mix of neuropsychological assessment, cognitive rehabilitation interventions, and psychological therapy. The work is with stroke survivors and adults with acquired brain injury, their families and carers. We support an MDT approach wherever possible and work closely with colleagues in the Community Neurorehabilitation Teams.
This role will be advertised internally, and if unsuccessful will go external

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
