What You Will Do:

Recommend and provide appropriate OT equipment, oversee major adaptations, and create safe and effective moving and handling plans.

Offer supervision, case management, and expert guidance to Occupational Therapy colleagues and social care staff.

Screen incoming referrals to the OT service and take appropriate action where necessary.

Allocate cases, authorise OT assessments, and ensure timely and effective distribution of equipment.

Provide specialist OT advice to access advisors, team managers, and other professionals.

Make internal and external referrals to relevant services as required to support client needs.
Requirements:

HCPC registration is essential.

Strong knowledge of major adaptations, moving and handling, and community-based OT practice.
