What You Will Do:

  • Recommend and provide appropriate OT equipment, oversee major adaptations, and create safe and effective moving and handling plans.

  • Offer supervision, case management, and expert guidance to Occupational Therapy colleagues and social care staff.

  • Screen incoming referrals to the OT service and take appropriate action where necessary.

  • Allocate cases, authorise OT assessments, and ensure timely and effective distribution of equipment.

  • Provide specialist OT advice to access advisors, team managers, and other professionals.

  • Make internal and external referrals to relevant services as required to support client needs.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of major adaptations, moving and handling, and community-based OT practice.
