Description
Priory Hospital Llanarth are looking for a Registered Psychologist to join the team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adult males and females. We provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for people with mental health conditions who present with a variety of behaviours that challenge.




What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Psychologist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

You will also;
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy for both private outpatient services and the hospital's private inpatient ward.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines, ensuring high standards of clinical governance.
  • Administer psychometric tests and evidence-based assessments as clinically indicated.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions as part of a dedicated, multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate closely with Consultant Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Psychotherapists to deliver comprehensive mental health care.

What you'll bring to the role

To be considered for this role, you must hold current HCPC registration and have prior experience working in outpatient mental health services. Ideally, you will also feel confident supporting both young people and adults, bringing flexibility and sensitivity to meet a range of client needs.
