We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Reablement Occupational Therapist in Salisbury. This full-time role offers a competitive pay rate of up to £36 per hour and promises the security of a 3-month contract, with the possibility of an extension. As a Reablement OT, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals after hospital discharge to regain their independence, working 37 hours per week, based at Bourne Hill, Salisbury. With this hybrid position, you will enjoy a flexible work environment splitting your time between office-based tasks, home working, and community visits.

What you will do:

• Conduct thorough assessments for individuals following hospital discharge.
• Develop and implement tailored reablement plans to support independence.
• Provide expertise on adaptive equipment and safe practices.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support decision-making processes.
• Manage your caseload efficiently by prioritising tasks and maintaining accurate records.
• Spend around 50% of your time in the office conducting administration work, with the remaining time divided between home working and community visits.
• Fulfil the needs of your role with the requirement of a full UK driving licence.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Ability to travel independently for community visits is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
