What you will do:

  • Develop and maintain the Pharmaceutical Quality System compliant with EU GMP requirements for the manufacture of 'Specials' licensed medicines and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Plan, organise, and coordinate analytical and environmental monitoring services from contract laboratories.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of environmental monitoring results, producing detailed monthly trend reports.
  • Organise an annual programme of self-inspections and actively participate in these inspections.
  • Manage a robust process of supplier approval to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
  • Perform Quality Control testing of radiopharmaceutical preparations, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
  • Deputise for the Head of Radiopharmacy as Quality Controller under the 'Specials' manufacturing license and IMP license.
  • Engage in Quality Governance meetings, providing timely quality metrics for review.
  • Keep abreast of EU GMP requirements and plan the implementation of necessary changes proactively.
  • Participate in the education and competency-based training of staff and other trainees, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
