🔍 About the Role

As a Radiographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services while delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety and clinical practice.

The successful candidate must be confident and competent across multiple imaging modalities, with proven hands-on experience performing X-ray, CT, MRI, and C-arm procedures. You will work collaboratively with Radiologists, Physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and outstanding patient outcomes.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform X-ray, CT, MRI, and C-arm procedures to a high clinical standard
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, positioning and optimal image acquisition
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques to achieve the highest diagnostic quality
  • Assist Radiologists during specialised and interventional imaging procedures
  • Maintain strict radiation protection standards in accordance with ALARA principles
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the imaging process
  • Support emergency, elective and intraoperative imaging services
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure confidentiality at all times
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent clinical outcomes

Essential Requirements

  • BSc or Diploma in Radiography
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in diagnostic imaging
  • Demonstrable competency and recent experience in X-ray, CT, MRI and C-arm procedures is essential
  • Strong technical knowledge and commitment to high-quality imaging standards
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work confidently in a busy multidisciplinary environment
  • Commitment to radiation safety, quality assurance and continuous professional development

⭐ Highly Desirable

  • Previous UK Radiography experience (NHS or Private Healthcare) is highly desirable
  • Experience working within internationally accredited healthcare environments

📜 Cayman Islands Licensing Eligibility

To be eligible for provisional registration with the Cayman Islands Medical Council, applicants must have obtained their Radiography qualification in one of the following countries:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Jamaica
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • United Kingdom
  • United States of America
