Are you an outstanding Qualified Psychologist with a passion for delivering high quality care?

We need a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist who's passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs.

You will be joining our team on a full time, 40hrs per week basis.

Cygnet Bury Dunes:

Cygnet Bury Dunes provides a wide range of inpatient mental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services and emergency admission services.

Upper West:

Upper West is Cygnet Bury Dunes's 10 bed medium secure service. Upper West, supports females with a range of complex care needs including personality disorder, mental illness and detachment disorders as well as both hearing and Deaf individuals.

Your day-to-day...

• Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups
  
• Work systemically with staff, as well as directly with service users
  
• Consult with staff, families & other agencies about the psychological care of the client group
  
• Offer psychological insight & knowledge to the multidisciplinary team
  
• Support the clinical, nursing & direct care teams in making skilled evaluations & decisions about risk
  
• Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research.
  

We are looking for someone who is...

• An experienced Psychologist, ideally with an adult mental health client group
  
• We would welcome applications from application due to qualify within 12 months.
  
• Experienced in working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  
• Knowledgeable of mental health legislation, risk assessment & risk management principles
  
• Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical & DBT
  
• Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
  
• Capable of treating difficulties such as self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending & drug & alcohol problems
  
• An excellent communicator.
