Description
Priory Hospital Roehampton is seeking to recruit a Registered Psychologist with experience in eating disorders to join the team. This is a part-time role (22.5 hours).

Located in London, Priory Hospital Roehampton has excellent links to motorways, trains, tubes, and buses.


What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and risk evaluations for patients with eating disorders and complex co-morbid mental health conditions.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual recovery goals.
  • Provide individual therapy, group programmes, and psychoeducational support within an inpatient treatment pathway.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to inform care planning, risk management, and discharge preparation.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, participate in audit and service development, and adhere to HCPC and professional body guidelines.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates must be a Registered Psychologist with HCPC registration and have substantial post-qualification experience working with patients with eating disorders, ideally in an inpatient or specialist mental health setting. Experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions such as CBT-E, MANTRA, or DBT is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong assessment and formulation skills, clinical risk awareness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team at Priory Hospital Roehampton, while maintaining high standards of professional practice, documentation, and outcome monitoring.
