The candidate will deliver a high quality, evidence based psychological service for males and females across both Acute and PICU settings
Priory Hospital Arnold is an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), for males and females struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions.
What you'll be doing
With appropriate supervision and support, applicants should be able to: Undertake complex assessments and risk assessment, develop comprehensive formulations and deliver specialist individual and group treatments relevant to the service. In addition, you will be required to provide clinical supervision for assistant psychologists, deliver reflective practice and develop and deliver training packages for staff of other disciplines, as required. Candidates should have excellent organisational ability and well developed interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Being able to work autonomously and also to perform effectively within a multi-disciplinary team is essential. An interest in conducting clinically relevant research would be helpful.You can find additional information in the attached job description.

All applicants must be eligible for registration with the HCPC and will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and reference check.
Desirable
Experience of working within ACUTE/PICU settings is desirable, however applications from newly qualified psychologists will be considered
