What you will do

  • Assessment: Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for individuals with complex neurological conditions.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and independence.
  • Intervention Delivery: Provide specialist interventions to address posture, balance, and functional ability.
  • Complex Needs Management: Manage conditions such as spasticity and contractures with evidence-based techniques.
  • Equipment Recommendation: Advise on mobility aids and assistive technologies to support independence.
  • Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care plans.
  • Clinical Reviews: Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing reviews.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards.
  • Staff Support: Support and guide staff through training on safe physiotherapy practices.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Professional Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy recognised by HCPC.
  • Registration: Current HCPC registration is essential.
