What you will do

  • Perform venepuncture procedures accurately and safely, ensuring patient comfort at all times.

  • Prepare, label, and handle blood samples in line with laboratory and clinical standards.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with policy and governance requirements.

  • Apply strict infection prevention and control procedures across all clinical activities.

  • Manage a busy workload efficiently, drawing on previous hospital or clinical experience.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, addressing questions and providing reassurance.

  • Work collaboratively with nursing and medical staff to support high-quality patient care.
