Pharmacy Technician MMT

Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6) | Start: 23/03/2026 | £20-£35 P/H

The Opportunity
We're recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support medicines management within a busy hospital pharmacy team. This role suits someone with strong MMT/ACT experience and ward-based skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medicines reconciliation on admission
• Order and prepare discharge medication
• Supply medications and ensure timely availability
• Support dispensing and accuracy checking
• Provide ward-based medicines management support
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe medicines use
• Assist with medicines management audits at external sites (car useful)

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months NHS or UK hospital experience
• Relevant Pharmacy Technician qualification
• GPhC registration
• Experience with hospital pharmacy systems
