OH Medical Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Peripatetic Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider delivering high-quality workplace health services across the commercial sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor looking for a varied hybrid role combining client site work, health surveillance, case management and wellbeing services across a diverse client portfolio including manufacturing, engineering and pharmaceutical environments.
The ideal candidate will be based within the South Oxfordshire area, with approximately 2 days per week required onsite in Swindon alongside travel to additional client sites across Oxfordshire.
The Role
This is a varied Peripatetic Occupational Health Advisor role supporting a wide range of commercial clients across the South Oxfordshire and Swindon area. Working across client sites with some hybrid flexibility, you will deliver a mix of case management, health surveillance and wellbeing services .

The Role
This is a varied Peripatetic Occupational Health Advisor role supporting a wide range of commercial clients across the South Oxfordshire and Swindon area. Working across client sites with some hybrid flexibility, you will deliver a mix of case management, health surveillance and wellbeing services .
You will be responsible for:
- Management referrals and fitness for work assessments
- Health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry and HAVS
- New starter screening and medical clearances
- Vaccinations and phlebotomy
- Workplace wellbeing support and health promotion
- Forklift truck medicals
- Producing clear and professional clinical reports
- Maintaining accurate and confidential Occupational Health records
- Building strong working relationships with client HR and Health & Safety teams
- Managing your own clinics and workload independently whilst supported remotely by the wider clinical team
Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
To be considered for this Occupational Health Advisor role you will need:
- Current NMC Nurse Registration
- Occupational Health qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree)
- Minimum 2 years post qualification Occupational Health experience within the commercial sector
- Experience delivering the full Occupational Health remit
- Competency in health surveillance, vaccinations and phlebotomy
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
- Experience using Cohort or Cority
