OH Medical is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking Occupational Health provider offering a dynamic, supportive environment and a strong focus on clinical excellence and employee wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to join a growing team delivering high-quality workplace health services in an on-site role.



About the Occupational Health Advisor Role

As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will deliver a full remit of occupational health services including case management, health surveillance, and fitness to work assessments, helping organisations maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

You'll work both autonomously in a standalone onsite post and collaboratively as part of a national multidisciplinary Occupational Health team, supporting employees and managers with expert, evidence-based advice.



Occupational Health Advisor Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering Occupational Health case management, including complex cases
  • Conducting health surveillance and fitness for work medicals
  • Carrying out clinical duties such as:
    • Vaccinations
    • Phlebotomy
    • Health screening questionnaires
  • Supporting employee wellbeing and health promotion programmes
  • Providing guidance to enable safe and early return to work
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with UK GDPR and data protection
  • Contributing to service improvement and Occupational Health best practice
  • Supporting colleagues, training, and team development where required


Occupational Health Advisor Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Recognised Occupational Health qualification (degree/diploma) or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in:
    • Case management (including complex referrals)
    • Health surveillance & medicals
    • Vaccinations and phlebotomy
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience within a commercial or corporate Occupational Health setting (desirable)
  • IT proficiency including Microsoft Office systems
  • Commitment to CPD and professional development
