What you will do:

  • Engage with individuals who present with complex and diverse communication profiles, providing tailored support and interventions.
  • Apply your knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed practices in your daily duties.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in various settings to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with families, relatives, and carers, ensuring they are part of the support process.
  • Develop and implement support plans based on thorough assessments and individual needs profiles.
  • Stay up to date with legislation and its impact on clinical practice and professional management relevant to your client group.
  • Maintain good relationships, analytical judgement, and use your communication skills to enhance service delivery.
  • Fulfil the requirements of the RCSLT Communication Standards with competence.
  • Use your time management and organisational skills to deliver effective services within your role.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle.
