Your World has a brilliant new opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with paediatrics in the community.
The role is Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (1x WTE)
SLT will be responsible for conducting specialist dysphagia assessments, reviews and intervention for babies under 1 years old and children, under the age of 18 years.
A qualified dysphagia trained speech and language therapist. Experience of working with children and babies under 1 years of age, with dysphagia.
Qualified Speech & langauge therapist with experience of administering formal and informal assessments. Experience of undertaking EHC needs assessment, report writing and mainstream schools assessments is essential

You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Romford. Pay rate ranging between £24 - £26 P/H per hour depending on experience.
The SLT we seek will have previously worked as a post-graduate therapist with paediatrics.
They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter. The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.

Requirements:
- A HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Right to Work in the UK
- Valid HCPC registration
- Paediatric post-graduate experience
- NQP (Newly Qualified Practitioner) competencies completed.
