We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) in Haringey, UK. This role offers a locum position with a salary of up to £35 per hour on a four-day workweek for a three-month contract. What you will do:

  • Provide specialised occupational therapy services to children and adolescents experiencing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
  • Assess and develop individualised treatment plans aimed at improving independence and quality of life.
  • Engage flexibly and independently within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
  • Utilise knowledge of occupational therapy theories to implement effective support strategies.
  • Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive reports on patients' progress.
  • Cultivate interest in sensory integration techniques and pursue relevant training opportunities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Confident car driver with ability to travel for client visits across Haringey.
  • Demonstrable experience in SEMH or similar settings.
  • Experience working with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning and mental health challenges is highly preferred.

Salary range
