Pay: £35 Hourly
Contract: Full-Time, Locum (3 Months)

You will work full time in our Adaptations & Equipment Team, focusing on assessing and meeting the needs of children requiring specialised equipment and adaptations.

What you will do:

  • Identify and assess the needs of children referred to the service, aligned with eligibility criteria and relevant legislation.

  • Recommend and organise the supply of equipment and structural adaptations to meet the assessed needs.

  • Demonstrate the use of equipment and adaptations to children, young people, and their parents or carers.

  • Undertake assessments within Early Years settings, schools, and colleges concerning specialist equipment.

  • Demonstrate clinical effectiveness by using evidence-based practice and outcome measures.

  • Develop guidelines informed by evidence for your clinical specialism.

  • Liaise with other professionals, statutory and community resources, and stakeholders to provide the best possible services for the child and family.

  • Collaborate with school staff, therapists, nurses, and other professionals involved with pupils.
