An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Oncology Aseptic Pharmacy Technician within AHP - Pharmacy in South East Sussex. Earning up to £350.00 per day, this ongoing NHS Trust assignment is ideal for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with specialist Oncology and Aseptic Services expertise.

Supporting the delivery of weekend Chemotherapy and Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant preparation of chemotherapy treatments. Working 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, this position offers flexibility alongside the opportunity to further develop your career within a specialist oncology pharmacy environment.

What you will do

  • Support the delivery of weekend Chemotherapy and SACT services.
  • Undertake aseptic preparation and final checking activities in accordance with local and national procedures.
  • Ensure the safe, accurate, and compliant preparation of chemotherapy treatments.
  • Work within aseptic units and clean room environments while adhering to strict quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Oncology Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain compliance with NHS, MHRA, and pharmacy governance requirements.
  • Support quality assurance activities and ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Contribute to the efficient delivery of Oncology Pharmacy services across the Trust.
  • Follow aseptic services policies, procedures, and best practice guidance at all times.
