What you will do
- Therapeutic Delivery: Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions for children with SEMH needs.
- Independent Practice: Work flexibly and autonomously to promote independence and functional skills in young people.
- Assessment & Reporting: Conduct detailed assessments and produce clear, professional reports.
- Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with education staff and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Specialist Support: Support neurodivergent children and those with learning or socio-emotional challenges.
- Clinical Application: Apply occupational therapy theory, including sensory-informed approaches, to practical interventions.
Qualifications / Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children, particularly within SEMH or neurodivergent populations.
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Full UK driving licence due to travel requirements.
