What you will do

  • Therapeutic Delivery: Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions for children with SEMH needs.
  • Independent Practice: Work flexibly and autonomously to promote independence and functional skills in young people.
  • Assessment & Reporting: Conduct detailed assessments and produce clear, professional reports.
  • Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with education staff and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Specialist Support: Support neurodivergent children and those with learning or socio-emotional challenges.
  • Clinical Application: Apply occupational therapy theory, including sensory-informed approaches, to practical interventions.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children, particularly within SEMH or neurodivergent populations.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Full UK driving licence due to travel requirements.
