What you will do:

  • Support the delivery of paediatric occupational therapy programmes under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist

  • Assist with assessments, observations, and interventions in homes, schools, and community environments

  • Implement therapy programmes, equipment provision, and intervention strategies to support children's development

  • Support children with daily living activities, play, motor skills, and sensory needs

  • Monitor and report on children's progress, adapting interventions under professional guidance

  • Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner professionals

  • Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute relevant therapy insights

  • Maintain a safe, supportive environment and adhere to safeguarding and organisational policies

Person specification:

Qualifications:

  • NVQ / Level 3 qualification in Health, Social Care, Therapy Support, or equivalent experience

Training and knowledge:

  • Understanding of paediatric developmental needs

  • Knowledge of safeguarding children procedures

Salary range

  • £29.42 per hour
