Description
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic occupational therapy assistant to work on our eating disorder unit, at Priory Hospital Bristol. The role is part-time, based on 22.5 hours a week.
You will be working alongside an occupational therapist and other members of the multidisciplinary team, supporting therapeutic goals and improving the care and lives of individuals with an eating disorder.
What you'll be doing
You will be involved in planning and facilitating leisure-based therapy groups on the ward that promote meaningful activity and social interaction. Under the guidance of the occupational therapist, you will also facilitate one-to-one sessions with patients in line with their occupational therapy treatment plan. You will be responsible for updating clinical records in a timely manner to document patient interactions.

Essential skills required: - Compassion for others - Ability to plan and facilitate group activities - Good communication skills - Good computer skills.
Desirable experience: - Experience of working in a health and social care setting.
