We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Social Services Team in Rochdale. This role sits within a project-based review team, working closely alongside an Advanced Practitioner and Social Workers to review and enhance care packages for adults in Supported Living settings.

What You Will Do

  • Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments for adults in Supported Living environments, using a strengths-based and incremental approach.

  • Recommend and provide appropriate equipment and minor adaptations to support independence and safety.

  • Complete moving and handling assessments where required.

  • Work collaboratively with Social Workers and an Advanced Practitioner to review and improve existing care packages.

  • Ensure all practice meets HCPC standards, delivering safe, effective, and person-centred interventions.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, recommendations, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration is essential.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in adult social care or a similar role.
