What you will do

Review care packages and apply manual handling expertise to implement single-handed care where appropriate.

Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, empowering service users to self-direct decisions where possible.

Take a professional lead role in triage, screening, and assessment of occupational and environmental needs.

Complete moving and handling assessments, recommending appropriate equipment and providing guidance to service users and carers.

Ensure commissioned support accurately reflects eligible needs, available resources, and value for money.

Undertake crisis intervention work, using professional judgement to support safe and effective outcomes.

Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred support.
