What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive community assessments within a local authority setting to identify individual needs.
  • Recommend appropriate standard and specialist equipment to promote independence and safety.
  • Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to improve accessibility, safety, and functionality within clients' homes.
  • Undertake detailed manual handling assessments and provide recommendations to ensure safe practice.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to develop personalised support plans.
  • Promote independence and enable individuals to achieve positive outcomes within their home and community environments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with professional, legal, and organisational requirements.
  • Provide specialist Occupational Therapy advice to colleagues and other professionals where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant Occupational Therapy experience.
  • Experience within community or lo

Salary range

  • £30 per hour
