What you will do:

  • Manage all clinical and professional aspects of complex Occupational Therapy casework.
  • Undertake comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments across all age groups.
  • Promote independence using evidence-based interventions that make a difference in clients’ lives.
  • Develop and implement person-centred support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of interventions and outcomes.
  • Assess care and support needs to establish appropriate personal budgets.
  • Handle complex cases and conduct risk assessments with confidence.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and case documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience in Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy.
  • Proficiency in managing complex cases and conducting assessments.
  • Strong skills in developing and reviewing support plans.
  • Dedication to promoting independence through evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team while managing a complex caseload.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with Local Authority.
  • Experience across a range of client groups.
  • Familiarity with personal budget assessments.
  • Experience within multidisciplinary community services.
