What you will do

  • Therapeutic Delivery: Provide occupational therapy interventions for children and young people aged 5-19 with SEN.
  • Assessment & Planning: Conduct detailed assessments and develop tailored therapy programmes to meet individual needs.
  • Autism Support: Deliver specialised interventions for children with autism, promoting functional independence.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapy outcomes.
  • Family & Staff Engagement: Liaise with staff and families to ensure consistent and effective support across settings.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records to track progress and inform care plans.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience working with children, particularly those with SEN and autism.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
