OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - COMMUNITY REHAB
Your World is currently seeking an experienced band 6 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist for work on a locum basis.
You will be visiting patients at home to provide Admission avoidance, Hospital at home, urgent community response, supported discharges, long term condition management with rehab and inpatient rehab on the 15 bedded Coho In Swanage.
Assessing for rehab care support, implementing day to day support, reviewing and progressing patients with assistant support. Managing own caseload and supporting junior staff day to day.
Community experiences and experience with deteriorating patients desirable.
This role you will be working 24 hours over 3 days, working 8 hour day between hours of 8am - 6pm.
You will be joining an outstanding set-up within a well-known Community Rehabilitation Team in Wareham. Please note that due to the community nature of the role, you will be required to be a car driver and owner. The hourly pay rate for this role is £24 - £26 P/H.

To be successful in this role, you need to meet the below requirements:
- Have a minimum of 12 months of NHS experience, ideally in the community setting (Rehab, Falls, Rapid Response, Intermediate Care)
- Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration
- Have access to own car for work purposes
- Be available to commence the role within 1-2 weeks and happy to commit to a minimum of 3 months
