What you will do

  • Therapeutic Delivery: Provide specialist occupational therapy interventions for children with SEMH needs.
  • Assessment & Planning: Conduct detailed assessments and produce clear, outcome-focused reports.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work with education and healthcare professionals to create cohesive care plans.
  • School-Based Support: Operate confidently within educational settings, supporting children in their learning environments.
  • Clinical Practice: Apply occupational therapy theory and sensory-informed approaches to improve independence and function.
  • Service User Support: Engage with neurodivergent children and those with learning or mental health challenges to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children, particularly within SEMH or neurodivergent populations.
  • Knowledge of sensory integration or sensory-informed practice is desirable.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
