What you will do

  • Therapeutic Delivery: Provide occupational therapy interventions for children with neurodivergent profiles and SEMH needs.
  • Assessment & Planning: Conduct detailed assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to support participation and independence.
  • Multidisciplinary Working: Collaborate with education staff and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
  • Engagement: Work closely with families, carers, and stakeholders to promote understanding and engagement in therapy plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and high-quality records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Best Practice: Keep up to date with current occupational therapy approaches and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children, particularly within SEMH or neurodivergent populations.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
