What you will do:

  • Conduct complex assessments for equipment adaptations and perform moving and handling risk assessments.

  • Facilitate the assessment and provision of Blue Badges, enhancing the mobility and independence of applicants with substantial disabilities.

  • Visit older and disabled children and adults in their homes for thorough evaluations and support.

  • Produce clear and concise written reports detailing assessments and recommendations.

  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, liaising effectively with relevant bodies to ensure comprehensive support.

  • Navigate and apply relevant moving and handling legislation to ensure best practices and compliance.

  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs.

  • Uphold strong team-working skills, fostering collaboration and efficiency.

To be successful, you must be HCPC registered and have access to your own vehicle.
